Tell everyone that you think would make a GREAT basketball official! It's Time for our Fall FIBA New officials training camp. The course will start with the classroom dates for rules training being scheduled for 6:30-8:00 PM on September 18, 23, 25, and 30. The sessions are set to take place in the 3rd floor classroom at the Sport NS
at 5516 Spring Garden Road.
The complete course involves the above noted 4 in-class rules sessions and an on-court training session(s). The latter are held on 3-4 weekday evenings or one or two longer sessions held on a weekend day(s) depending on instructor and gym availability. These have yet to be scheduled.
At the end, you will be required to pass a basic rules exam and show basic skills for on-floor performance.
The cost for the course is $50 per person. If intending to still move forward with this, please e-transfer the $50 to Greg Parsons at gregdparsons@hotmail.com. Please include your name and cell phone contact information. Greg will confirm your acceptance into the training camp.
